What if i'm new to kayaking?
We provide safe and fun kayak tours regardless of your experience level. Every tour begins with an on-land safety and instruction lesson.
How long should I plan for my kayak tour?
Provide yourself 3 hours for each of our tours.
What should I wear?
Any comfortable clothing which allows your arms to move is fine. Shorts, bathing suits or quick-dry pants are great choices. Plan on getting a little bit wet but at no point will you need to “get in” the water. Dress according to the forecasted weather and wear a hat and long selves if you want to hide from the sun. Water shoes, sandals, flip-flops, and old sneakers all make for good paddling footwear.
It is also a good idea to bring a change of clothes to have in your car when your finished.
What should I bring to my tour?
Most important is sunscreen and your own refillable water bottle. Many guests bring small electronics such as phones or cameras. A small dry-bag or ziploc bag is helpful in reducing the risk of devices getting wet.
Beyond that all you need is a smile and your sense of adventure!
Do your kayak guides accept tips?
Yes, our guides work hard to make your trip the best experience possible.
What are your payment and booking policies?
We accept both cash and credit cards. Booking requires a credit card number for reservations. Actual payment will be handled after your tour on the day of your trip.
If you need to cancel your reservation up to 24 hours of your trip there is a $15 per person fee. If you are a “no show” on the day of your trip you will be responsible for full tour amount.
